BIOMETRIC DATA
The technology used is based on using palm recognition biometric data. In short, it verifies your identity by using the unique features of the veins of your palms.
PERSONAL DATA
We will only collect and process your biometric data with your written consent. You may give it to us when you open an account or at any time you wish by completing and submitting to us the Biometric Data – Consent Form. You can do so by email at info@ancoriabank.com or by mail at Ancoria Bank, 12 Demostheni Severi Avenue, 1080 Nicosia, Cyprus or hand it to us in person at any of our Banking Centres during opening hours.
*If you do not wish to provide us with your biometric data or if you choose to withdraw your initial consent, you will continue to receive the same level and range of services from our self-service kiosks by using your debit card.
You can also withdraw your initial consent by filling in and submitting the Biometric Data – Withdrawal of Consent Form and submit it to us by email at info@ancoriabank.com or by mail at Ancoria Bank, 12 Demostheni Severi Avenue, 1080 Nicosia, Cyprus or hand it to us in person at any of our Banking Centres during opening times.
In the event you close your account or withdraw such consent it activates your ‘right to be forgotten’, which means that any data relating to your biometric data is deleted from any of our Bank’s systems.
